Boston Mission Trip Info Meeting

Boston Mission Trip  | September 3-8, 2019

Each year the town of Norwood, MA, hosts a civic pride celebration that includes fireworks, food trucks, kids rides, rock climbing, races and other fun family activities. Over the last few years, Encounter Church (Westwood, MA) has been one of the main suppliers of volunteer workers to support this event.

On this trip, Warren missionaries will partner with Encounter Church during the development and implementation stages of Norwood day. Our team will primarily help Encounter with set up, day of volunteer help, and clean up. Our goal is to be catalysts for interactions that lead to encounters with Christ.

We are looking for a group of 10-15 growing disciples who like to have fun! This trip is open to adults and students who are at least 13 years of age. Are you overly extroverted? Are you an Enneagram 7 who just wants to help others love life the way you do? Are you a servant leader who doesn’t need the spotlight? Do you like the smell of carnival foods? Are you someone who’s heard about the Boston church but never experienced it “in action”?

If you’ve answered YES to any of these questions, this trip is for you! Join us for a brief info meeting after the worship service on July 28 in the Global Cafe. Lunch served.
