Operation Christmas Child 2023
Sharing the love of Jesus, through the power of a simple gift, with children around the world.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Each year we join with OCC to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These simple gifts are shipped to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.
Shoeboxes will be available on all campuses beginning Sunday, Oct 29.
Collection week will be Monday, Nov 13 through Monday, Nov 20 at The Edge on the Augusta Campus and at the Grovetown Campus.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN 2023
OPTION 1: Build a shoebox online
For $25 you can pack a virtual shoebox that will be filled by Operation Christmas Child and sent to a child somewhere in the world. You identify the gender of the child receiving the box, the age you’re packing for, and the items included. OCC does the rest!

No physical shoebox drop off is needed.
OPTION 2: Purchase items online; Pack at home
With many people concerned over virus exposure, one option is to purchase shoebox items from an online retailer. Ship those items to your home. Pack a traditional shoebox. Print a label and pay for shipping. And then deliver your completed shoebox to Warren Augusta, Warren Grovetown or at a drop off location in the CSRA.
