WSM Project – Easter Food Basket

Over the past year, the CSRA has seen a 42% increase in the number of people who are in need of food. A large percentage of these families include students from our local schools who rely on the school breakfast and lunch program to provide the nourishment they need. During school breaks, many students go without meals and can suffer from hunger.

To provide a helping hand, the Warren Student Ministry and Missions Ministry are partnering together alongside several Columbia County schools to provide Easter food baskets to students and their families who are in need. These families will be home with very little during the week-long break, so this will allow us to provide them with some additional nutritional support to hold them over.

From now until March 14th, we will be collecting specific items that will feed these families during the Easter break. We need a total of 100 of each item, so gather your Life Group, pack a box and bring it to the church!

Items will include:
*Rice (5 LB)
*Canned fruit (32 oz)
*Quick Oats (42 oz)
*Peanut Butter (16 oz)
*Laundry Pods (14 oz)

Click here to let us know which items your Life Group will provide.

Drop off will be at the main office Monday thru Thursday, 10AM – 2PM & Sunday during the service times.
Place items in the wooden bin labeled “Easter Food Basket”.
