UPDATE (July 12, 2023): Joshua is doing better each day. So grateful! He’s got a ways to go, but he is heading in the right direction. He has a doctor’s appointment on the 17th. And then, in three months, we see the spinal surgeon. They found something else on his spine during surgery so we will handle that when the time comes. One day at a time Joshua and our family are so grateful for all the prayers. They are so powerful and comforting.
UPDATE (July 6, 2023): The surgeons were able to get ALL of the tumor removed from his body! PTL! He will have an MRI in 3 months to look at a blocked tunnel (not sure what that is) they found during surgery. He might have to have another surgery down the road. Right now he is recuperating in ICU and is having a lot of pain. Please continue to pray for this young man!
I ask for prayers for my 20 year old cousin Joshua Sweat. He lives near Akron, Ohio. He has an aggressive growing non-cancerous tumor on his lung that has attached to his heart and spine. He had major surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and a lung surgeon, heart surgeon and spine surgeon operated. (July 4, 2023)
