Over 35% of those living within 10 miles of downtown Harlem, GA, do not regularly attend church. This number is very alarming, and with the population growth projected for the city, the number of people in this group will undoubtedly increase.

New churches are vital in reaching those that are far from God. In fact, the research shows that the unchurched are reached through new church plants at a much greater rate than through existing churches. Impact Church was planted with the purpose of reaching the unchurched in the Harlem area.
