Broken relationships and betrayal are hard realities of our fallen world. We know that we are called to forgive others as we have been forgiven, but how can we live in that forgiveness when the heaviness of it overwhelms our spirit? Joseph experienced tender betrayal from his own family and lived out forgiveness to them with a heart of gratitude because He trusted in the sovereignty of God over man’s evil schemes.
