Man to Man Conference
Each March, our Men's Ministry holds an annual Man to Man Conference that hosts men from across the CSRA. These men will hear challenging, relevant messages from gifted speakers with a desire to equip and empower men.
2025 Man to Man Speakers
Sid Bream
Sid played in two World Series, while playing with the Atlanta Braves, and four consecutive National League playoffs – three with the Braves and one with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Reflecting on his major league career, Sid says – I've had many memorable moments, but the one that meant the most was while I was with the Braves, in the 7th game of the 1992 National League Championship Series against the Pirates. In that game, Sid executed what has become known as The Slide – as he slid home to beat a throw from outfielder Barry Bonds with the game-and-series-winning run for Atlanta.
Sid’s an avid outdoorsman and loves to talk about God’s awesome handprint across this world. In addition to his years with the Braves, Sid played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pirates and the Houston Astros. Since retiring from the game, he spends most of his time speaking in churches, youth groups and schools, all over America.
Titus Green
Titus is the pastor of First Baptist, Merritt Island, Florida, where he’s served for 20 years. Reared in a pastor’s home, during his undergrad years at college, Titus felt the distinct call of God to preach the gospel of Jesus. He is passionate about knowing Jesus, being a husband and dad, and shepherding the flock of God in Merrit Island, on Florida’s space coast.
Court Holloway
Court Holloway is the original church planter and current pastor of Shores Church, in southern Maine.
Court says – ‘Whether we were meeting in living rooms, office space, or a finished basement, the goal has always been to be a place where people can come and explore what it means to KNOW JESUS and make JESUS KNOWN. Not much has changed except we have a bigger space that we get to rent and parking (no more parking on people’s lawns or down the street!). We are committed to making a big deal out of Jesus and helping people find friendship, connection, and a mission in life for Jesus.’
Court is married to Kara. They met in Boston, freshman year of college. And they have four kids, plus two dogs – Poppy and Taylor Sniff.
Jeremiah Johnston
Jeremiah hosts the podcast, The Jeremiah Johnston Show and is a New Testament scholar, pastor, author, and Senior Fellow of Christian Origins, Dallas Baptist University. He’s also a nationally syndicated radio host, Bible teacher, and apologist. Jeremiah ministers internationally as the president of the Christian Thinkers Society. He loves the local church and serves as pastor of apologetics and cultural engagement at Prestonwood Baptist Church, as well as dean of spiritual development at Prestonwood Christian Academy.
Jeremiah’s passion is working with churches and pastors in equipping Christians to give intellectually informed reasons for what they believe, and he speaks in churches of all denominations. As a theologian, he has the unique ability to connect with people of all ages – as a culture expert, he has been interviewed numerous times, and has reviewed and contributed articles across a spectrum of national shows, including: Fox News, Publishers Weekly, CNN, CBS This Morning, Vanity Fair, Premier Christianity magazine, Premier radio, RELEVANT magazine, DECISION magazine, the Christian Post, as well as Moody and Salem Radio networks.
Dr. Ken Whitten
Ken is the national director of pastoral leadership at the North American Mission Board but prior to his current role, he was the pastor of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa. His years of ministry at Idlewild included two campus build outs and seven church plants, while on mission in West Africa, China, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Romania, England, Paraguay, Panama, and Guatemala.
Ken has preached to thousands elsewhere, including Men’s conferences, Bible conferences and numerous national, state and local conventions.
Dr. Whitten has given leadership to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the SBC International Mission Board, Florida State Board of Missions and other ministries, as well.
