Pray for the McClendon family, Christy and Lane and their 1-year old daughter, Cooper. On Friday morning, Cooper began vomiting and continued to worsen throughout the day. She became weak, lethargic, and eventually had a seizure, prompting them to take her to CHOG. There, she was diagnosed with acute liver failure and was transferred to CHOA for more advanced care. She is currently in the PICU. Cooper’s liver enzymes and ammonia levels were very high, so she was placed on dialysis and started on antibiotics as part of treatment for suspected sepsis. While there has been some improvement in her bloodwork, doctors are still unsure of what caused the liver failure. Christy asked specifically for our prayers for their precious girl and that the doctors will quickly figure out what caused the liver failure.

Thank you for the prayers for Colleen, my wife who was diagnosed with lung cancer. We went on a trip to Hawaii as planned since it was more important to us to see our daughters and family than begin any treatment. We are grateful to see everyone. May our God give us wisdom and favor as we take next steps. May He provide knowledge and discernment to know what to do. We have a virtual meeting with the pulmonologist tomorrow 8/4 and a full body scan on Tuesday 8/5.
