Honored Guest FAQs
Yes, all honored guests MUST have a completed registration form. If you are registering multiple honored guests – please fill out a registration form for each one individually. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Registration will close once we reach capacity or December 19, whichever happens first.
We will open a waitlist and contact people from the waitlist if spots open.
We will communicate via email. Please be sure to provide an email address that you check regularly. If you have a question, please email Jennifer Copley at jenniferc@warren.church.
During registration you will be asked to choose an “arrival window.” These "arrival windows" will be between 5:30 & 6:15 PM. Please do your best to arrive during that window in order to keep drop off running smoothly. You will be sent an email with a reminder of your “arrival window” leading up to the event. The email will include details regarding the drop-off procedure as well as your “Drop-Off” number and time.
Upon drop-off, honored guests will be matched up with their buddy for the evening. They will then either have their shoes shined or their hair and make-up freshened up. They will receive a boutonniere or a corsage and take a walk down the red carpet where they will be crowned as a king or queen.
There will then be a variety of activities that they can participate in including karaoke, special activities, dinner (finger foods such as chicken fingers and pizza), and of course lots of dancing!
After dropping off your honored guest we will direct parents/caregivers to our Parent/Caregiver Dinner. At least one parent/caregiver must stay during the event so that you can be reached in a timely way if needed and we also want a chance to celebrate and pamper you.
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate up to two parents/ caregivers per honored guest.
At the Parent/Caregiver Dinner, you will be served a catered dinner. The red carpet will be live streamed into the Parent/Caregiver Dinner area so that you can watch your honored guest’s big moment on the red carpet. Following dinner and dessert there will be special activities celebrating you!
Following the special activities there will be a time toward the end of the evening that you will be able to watch the dance floor from our walking track above the gym and then move down to the gym floor to have a last dance with your honored guest, if you choose.
The Parent/Caregiver dinner will be a semi-formal event. Some parents/caregivers may dress in semi-formal attire. We encourage you to dress in a way that you are comfortable.
