· When Opportunity Overwhelms“So get that. we believe that evangelism is the major business of any church, but we also believe that enlistment is the next step. If we fail to enlist those we evangelize, we have carried out only part of the great commission Jesus gave his disciples in Matthew 28, 19 through 20. And much harm is done to the individual and a great loss is sustained by the kingdom of God. We want our people, and get these two words, we want our people enlightened, that's saved, and we want them enlisted in the”
Stephen Newman · Here Today“So I'll end with this quote from A.H. Simmons in that same introductory member letter. I'll bring you back up and repeat some of what I already said but finish with this last statement. He says this. If we fail to enlist those who we evangelize, we have carried out only part of the great commission that Jesus gave his disciples in Matthew 28, 19 through 20. And much harm is done to the individual and a great loss is sustained by the kingdom of God. We want our people enlightened and enlisted”
Stephen Newman · Here Today“Pastor Simmons said. He said, we believe that evangelism is the major business of any church, but we also believe that enlistment is the next step. If we fail to enlist those we evangelize, we have carried out only part of the great commission Jesus gave his disciples in Matthew 28, 19, and 20. David H. McKinley · Yesterday Once More“your uh God's word with me, we're going to read from Matthew chapter 28 18 to 20. We know this as a great commission. Matthew chapter 28, if you can just open with me, we're going to read together. Verse 18 says, "And Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." Verse 19, "Go." Amen. Go therefore and make”

“And in that authority and in that power and in that might is what mobilizes us on mission. You may be thinking, what do you mean, Steve? What are you getting after? Well, I think one of the most quoted scriptures of all of the Bible is the Great Commission, right? Where's the Great Commission found? A little quiz. Matthew what? I heard a couple different things. There we go, 28. Okay, verses 19 and 20. See, everybody reads 19 and 20, but nobody goes to verse 18.”
Stephen Newman · When Opportunity Overwhelms“Matthew 28, 19 and 20, known as the Great Commission, Jesus is commissioning his disciples to go and to share the gospel, to share Jesus' love with the world. It says,”
Pryce Drafts · Warren Students - August 20th“You might be thinking, I'm not a pastor. I'm not a missionary. I'm not a church planter. You know what? The words of Jesus just before he ascended into heaven really gives great insight into what he has called us to do and to how he has called us to be about building up his church. Jesus says this in Matthew 28, 19 through 20. He says, go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father”
Stephen Spragg · Fulfilling the Mission of God“goodness of God he gives us a command to change the world Matthew 28 19 and 20 says go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I've commanded you, and behold, I am with you to the end of the age. Isn't that just such an amazing truth, church? That we know that even after we've”
Lorenzo Rodgers · The Restoration of God“Everyone has a new purpose. I don't care what type of gifts or talents you have. Maybe you don't have the gift of speaking. Maybe you don't have the gift of, you know, taking care of children. Maybe you don't have the gift of encouragement or of showing grace. But we have all been given gifts through the Holy Spirit. And because of that, there is a purpose, a new purpose for everyone who has been restored back to God. Matthew 28, 19 and 20 says,”
Lorenzo Rodgers · The Restoration of God“This is a command that he's going to give us called the Great Commission that's not supposed to just be heard, and taught, and learned. It's called to be walked into, and to be obeyed. And so I get, as we approach this text today in Matthew chapter 28, and I want to invite you, if you have a Bible, and I hope that you do, to find your place in Matthew chapter 28. We're going to teach through three verses, verses 18, 19, and 20. We're going to do this systematically.”
Stephen Newman · How to Make Disciples“But the angel said to the woman, do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus. who was crucified, he is not here, for he has risen. As he said, come, see the place where he lay. Then go. We're going to see six episodes of the word go or going right here in Matthew 28. Oftentimes, we just highlight the one in verses 18 and 19 and 20, but there are so many episodes”
