Love of God
What our pastors have said about Love of God, drawn from messages preached across our campuses.
In their own words
“And whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.”
Stephen Spragg · Love One Another as God Loves Us“He didn't sit Jonah on a timeout forever. He didn't take him off of his plan. He continued to use him and purpose him for great and mighty things. He restored his faith. He restored his life and he set him on a mission because God loves Jonah, God loves Nineveh, and God loves you, and God loves me, and God loves this community, and God loves this nation, and God loves this world. And we are called to surrender totally to the Lord, to look to him as the author and perfecter of our faith, to surrender our lives to him.”
Andrew Skelton · A Prayer From the Deep“Beloved, let us love one another. For love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
Eric Almodovar · The Love of God Casts Out Fear
