Solidarity

“Everybody is blessed by the azaleas. What I'm saying to you today is that a part of the mystery of God is a mystery of solidarity. It's when those bushes are all together in one place and in one accord that there is a solidarity, a mass of color, though it's not all the same. It is all one.”

“And Jesus said, your problem is, you're so caught up in your bondage of your greed, and you've got so much that you could do, but you gotta let go. Now, I wanna be sure you understand, Jesus didn't look at him and say to him, okay, pursue poverty and solidarity and go be a monk and get rid of everything. Jesus didn't tell him that. Jesus just said, what I want you to do is I want you to release what you have and I want you to follow me.”
