Meet Jeanna …
Have you every felt like everything you know to be true, everyone you love, and every hope you ever had was lost? This week’s testimony of encouragement comes from a place of loneliness, loss, and desperation? But the beauty that is found in this story is one that will inspire you with courage and fill you with joy because of the love and faithfulness of Jesus.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23

When I heard Jeanna’s testimony I was, of course, struck by the pain and sorrow that she went through but then I began to think beyond that. I began to focus on the power of God in her story … His perfect timing, His unfailing character, His love and faithfulness.
I want to ask you today, are you in need of the power of God in your life? Do you need to look to Him and His timing in your situation? What characteristics of God do you need to focus on today or this week?

Our God is greater, our God is stronger, God you are higher than any other. Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God! Our God!
And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us. And if our God is with us, then what could stand against.
