LIFE Legacy Fund

God's people using God's resources to do God's business.

The Warren LIFE Foundation, a 501(c)3 ministry of Warren Church, is offering an opportunity for individuals and families to establish generational LIFE Legacy of Kingdom Significance by investing in the ministries of this great church community. Donors are able to select which ministry areas will be blessed by their established fund. Gifts of all sizes will impact the kingdom. Donors are encouraged to grow their fund by making weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual contributions.

Why Make an Investment in a LIFE Legacy Fund?

Followers of Christ should have an investment mentality as seen in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30).
God blesses us with financial resources not only to provide for ourselves and our families, but to build up His Kingdom.
We should make the most of every opportunity to make a difference for Christ.
You can not only create an individual but also a family legacy by investing in God's work here on earth.
By making it a family initiative, you can teach children (of all ages) the fundamentals of faithful stewardship.
Our faithfulness has present and eternal ramifications.

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. 1 Timothy 6:18-19

The Big Question, Especially for the Christian: What is My Life Legacy?

HAVING AN INVESTMENT MENTALITY

As stated earlier, God created man to have an investment mentality as seen in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25). There are two types of investments:

Secular worldly investments: stocks, bonds, CDs, mutual funds, real estate...
Eternal kingdom investments: using man to fulfill God's plan here on earth.

It is important to note that there is nothing inherently wrong for a follower of Christ to make investments to prepare for his family's future, but every investor must always be concerned with his return on investment (ROI).
In our present economy, worldly investments bring a sense of uncertainty as the markets fluctuate up and down every day, whereas eternal kingdom investments always yield a fruitful return in terms of the Lord's work being done and His kingdom being glorified. A LIFE Legacy Fund provides an individual/family with a platform to make significant eternal kingdom investments.

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

How Does a LIFE Legacy Fund Work?

Step 1: Contact the Warren LIFE Foundation to set up an initial meeting at your convenience.

The meeting allows the process to be reviewed and questions answered. Again, all sizes of gifts are welcome. The key is to get started today!
Select a Warren ministry or ministry areas to bless by your named LIFE Legacy Fund by signing a mutually agreed upon document establishing the donor's wishes.

Step 2: The Warren LIFE Foundation pools your gift with other current Foundation invested assets.

All Foundation assets are invested with the Georgia Baptist Foundation (GBF).

Step 3: The Warren LIFE Foundation provides the donor with an annual statement:

Statement will provide the current LIFE Legacy Fund balance.
Statement will also provide the amount that was distributed to your selected ministry areas. All distributions are in accordance with the Warren LIFE Foundation's Spending Policy.
In addition, your Warren Church Contribution Statement will include any amounts given to your LIFE Legacy Fund.

Step 4: Your LIFE Legacy Fund will perpetually bless your selected ministries, literally until the day Jesus returns.

THE POWER OF PERPETUAL GIVING

Kingdom significant giving extends beyond your lifetime, thus creating a legacy.
The principle of your investment into the LIFE Legacy Fund will never be touched.
The principle is invested, and only the return is distributed to the selected ministry or ministry areas.
Over time the distributions to selected ministry areas will far exceed the invested amount.

*Assumes a 7% Avg Annual Return with a 4.5% Annual Distribution. Investment returns are not guaranteed. Although the investment allocation is diversified and managed with relatively conservative perspective, the combination of fixed income (bond), equity (stock), and real asset investments are not immune to varied effects of market volatility and economic conditions.

EVANGELISM

Television & Radio Broadcast Endowment

Spreading the Gospel message through the preaching of Dr. David McKinley beyond the walls of Warren in more than 5,200 homes each Sunday morning with over 13,000 viewers. Pastor David's sermons are also heard on local radio each day. The Broadcast and Radio Ministry of Warren Church provides spiritual support to isolated or vulnerable people. It is a spiritual connection and ministry to those who are shut-ins, in hospitals, or prison cells, providing a source of comfort and guidance.

Ministry Residency & Seminary Program Endowment

The Warren Ministry Residency exists to "Invest in Future Generations for Greater Kingdom Impact."

Our goal is to walk with men and women who are exploring a call to ministry. A person who goes through our program will learn how to lead themselves and lead others. Warren is committed to discipling young leaders and fostering their growth in knowledge, character, vision, and skills.

Every resident is immersed in ministry opportunities that line up with their personal passion. The Warren Ministry Residency is a 12-month, 29-hour per-week program which combines focused training, hands-on experience, and intentional mentorship to help participants grow in their leadership ability and clarify their calling either in vocational ministry or in the marketplace. It is our desire to see competent and compassionate leaders be developed for the sake of carrying out God's mission here on earth.

Warren Church also invests in Seminary education for our staff so that they are better equipped for ministry.

The average cost of a single Ministry Resident for one year is $24,000.
The average cost for a Seminary Student each semester is $1,000.

Preschool & Children's Ministry Endowment

Kids@Warren partners with parents to raise kids who follow Jesus, love God's Word, and change the world. Every Sunday and Wednesday, gifted and called leaders seek to lay a strong Biblical Foundation on which belief and faith in Jesus Christ can be built through age-appropriate teaching and environments. We help children understand that following Jesus in not a one-time decision they make, it's a heart transformation evidenced by a personal, growing relationship and a dependance on God in all areas of their lives.

More than 2,300 children pass through the halls of Warren on a weekly basis.
Summer Adventure Week attracted more than 830 children.

Student Summer Camp Scholarships

Warren Student Ministry: Inspiring students to love Jesus and love others. WSM is grounded on four pillars:

Belong - Any student from any background with any story is welcome and can find a place to belong.
Believe - Our aim is to teach the clear compelling truth of the gospel so that many students will repent of their sin, believe in Jesus and be eternally saved.
Serve - We want to help students discover and develop their God-given gifts to be used for serving the church. We desire for students to not simply sit and consume, but contribute to their family, church, and society.
Send - We desire to train student missionaries to engage their world with the gospel. We want to create experiences that challenge them to step out in faith and be part of God using their life to impact others locally and globally with the gospel.

Need-based scholarships to students attending Warren summer camps.
Average cost for a student to attend one of our camps ranges from $170-$450.

SPORTS OUTREACH

Warren Sports & Fitness Center Endowment

Warren Sports & Fitness is a public facility dedicated to serving the whole person -- body, mind, and soul. Our mission is to provide a clean, enjoyable, low-cost experience; all encompassed within the energetic, Christ-focused atmosphere of our church. Along with our fitness programs, we offer various athletic opportunities geared towards children and adults of every age and every level of experience.

We want to use sports and fitness to reach children and families for Christ.
On an annual basis, over 1200 children are involved in at least one of our sports leagues or camps.
Our Fitness Center membership exceeds 3,000 members and are people from all races and religions.

Our mission is to be a Christ-centered organization committed to walking with women facing an unplanned pregnancy by:

Providing life-affirming medical care
Empowering women to make healthy and informed decisions
Providing compassionate support and mentorship

Our Vision: To see women choose life and discover the One who is the way, the truth, and the life.

What We Do: We meet women facing life decisions and provide help, healing, and hope through compassionate care, peer guidance, and positive life choices.

Our vision is for every Christ follower at Warren Church to have meaningful participation in the Great Commission and to help see the Great Commission fulfilled by being effective in a 2 Timothy 2:2 model of mission.

Hope Mental Wellness Center Endowment

Mental health is becoming one of the greatest mission fields set before the church. Mental health issues are rising exponentially, affecting the fabric of our churches, society and world. Hope Mental Wellness Center is here to make a positive difference in our community and the kingdom by effectively and holistically addressing the mental health needs of the community. HMWC is a place where a person's mental health needs are addressed through counseling, coaching, and community connection.

The cost of a one-hour session is $75.00
The average person will need 15-20 counseling sessions.
