Called to Pray: Day 1

Called to Pray Day 1

Day 1

Reading
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. -Ephesians 1:1-6

Prayer
To the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ—You are to be praised, for Your glorious grace, Your love, and the unmerited favor You display toward Your people. I praise You that “in Christ” I am blessed. I am chosen. I am holy. I am blameless. I am adopted as Your son and/or daughter. Because of these magnificent blessings, I am free to rest in my position in Christ Jesus. Thank you, for this marvelous blessing.

    • Am I living a life set-apart and holy or is there some sin in my life from which I need to repent?
Help me walk in holiness by living a life “set-apart” for Your glory.
    • What path have you or are you laying out before me to walk?
Call me to a higher place with You, Lord Jesus, and give me the glorious grace to walk the journey You have planned for me.
