Reading
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. -Ephesians 1:11-14
Prayer
All things are to the praise of Your glory, Jesus! Thank You for the blessed inheritance I have because of the work You accomplished on the Cross. Thank You for salvation which makes me righteous, holy, and blameless before You. I praise You for the seal and guarantee of the Holy Spirit who not only secures my inheritance, but leads, guides, and directs my daily life.

- Do I understand the power of the Holy Spirit working within me and yield to the Spirit’s power in my life daily?
Lord, help me look to and listen to the Holy Spirit that is within me. - Am I tapping into the fullness of the inheritance which is mine now and for eternity, walking fully in the calling of the Lord Jesus Christ and my position in Him?
Give me greater understanding of my inheritance in Christ Jesus. - What or who am I clinging to more than Christ?
If there is any sin in me that needs to be laid on the altar and surrendered to You, Lord, bring this to my mind and give me the grace to let it go and cling to You.
