Called to Pray: Day 12

Called to Pray Day 12

Day 12

Reading
For this reason I bow before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. -Ephesians 3:14-19

Prayer
Lord, I humbly bow before You, asking for the strength to endure and that my faith would increase by the power of Your Spirit. May the foundation of my heart, regardless of the world, be love, which is a strength we all need. You are love, Lord. Fill my heart that no matter what circumstances come my way, I would always carry the banner of Christ’s love which is beyond human comprehension. For only through Christ, can I truly love.

Additional Prayer Questions & Points to Pray Through

  • Have you humbled yourself and laid down your pride asking the Lord for strength.
Search my heart, Lord. Rid me of those things that make me blind to Your love.
  • What most captures my attention and affection? If it is not the Lord, then am I willing to lay it down at the cross?
Set the foundation of your heart on the Lord.
  • Have I been too focused on the tribulations of this world? Am I tuning out Christ’s love because I am too busy looking at the world? Take time to realign your heart to the love of Christ and the incomprehensible strength and life it brings through the power of the Spirit.
Take strength in the love of Christ which reaches beyond our understanding.
