Read … I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:1-2
Remember … Lord, You are my strength, my fortress and my deliverer. I praise You today for the way You take care of Your people. There is no God like you.
Reflect … Thank You, for delivering me out of the darkness of my sins and bringing me into Your light. I am grateful for Your provisions, Your protection, Your providence and Your passion for Your Kingdom.
Renew … Lord, would You so fill me up with the things You are passionate for that I can’t help but follow Your lead in all situations? Help me to love the way You love, serve the way You serve, and light this world as I am consumed by Your presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
To be used of God. Is there anything more encouraging, more fulfilling?
Perhaps not, but there is something more basic: to meet with God.
To linger in His presence, to shut out the noise of the city and, in quietness,
give Him the praise He deserves. Before we engage ourselves in His work,
let’s meet Him in His Word… in prayer… in worship.
