Day 8 – Monday, February 10

Read I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19a

Remember … You enlighten hearts and minds. You are the God of all hope, and You are all-powerful!

Respond … My mind gets dull because the world tugs at me and I often succumb to it. Please forgive me for loving the world more than I love You.

Reflect … The hope that you give Your people is almost too much to fathom. Thank You for filling a hopeless world with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Renew … Help Your people – the church – understand and truly grasp the depth of Your goodness, Your hope, and Your grace. As we move forward with the ministry at Warren Augusta and Warren Grovetown, open our eyes to Your incomparably great power. Help us believe You for what You have promised to do in and through Your church. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There are three stages in the work of God:  impossible, difficult, done.  ― James Hudson Taylor
