Read … That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:19b-21
Remember … You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You rule and reign. You are above all, and all strength and power are in You, Jesus.
Respond … I am so sorry for doubting Your abilities. I can only imagine how that grieves You. Forgive me for thinking that anything is too hard for You.
Reflect … I am grateful for the ways I have seen You exercise Your authority. I am glad You are in charge. Thank You for that assurance.
Renew … Help Your people – the church – grasp how truly great and powerful You are. Will You do something in our midst that is so amazing that we can’t take credit for? Cause us to be so awe-struck with what You do in and through Your church that we can’t help but cry, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!”
