Everlasting Father!
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6
The word father for many denotes a strong, secure, and steady title where rest, warmth and peace reside. To others, the word father describes a cold, harsh, or even non-existent figure conjuring up thoughts of fear and doubt.
But Jesus, God in flesh, came as our Everlasting Father. Always present, ready to receive, restore, and remain with us in times of plenty or in times of need.
As you pray today rest in the warmth and peace of His love.
