Prince of Peace!
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6
With the busyness of Christmas, we often find ourselves missing out on the peace of the season. Parties, presents, and pomp and circumstance fill the crevices of our lives and crowd out the tranquil hope of the season.
Jesus came to be king of our lives. He came to be the prince who would bring us peace with God and peace within ourselves.
Are you allowing the prince of this world to crowd out the Prince of Peace?
Will you spend some quiet moments today praying to Jesus, the Prince of Peace? Will you ask Him to subdue the noise, the crowds, and the schedule that precludes your time with Him so you can rest in the gift of His presence?
Do you know the Prince of Peace? Have you made peace with God through His Son, Jesus?
Pray today for those you know who need Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
