Lord, Help Me to Walk in Purity …
Read Psalm 24:3-6: Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah
As you pray today, begin by recognizing the sovereignty of God. Take time to selah, to pause, and ponder the wonders of the Lord and the goodness of His presence.
Lord, I thank You for …
- The blessing of seeking You, and the invitation to draw near to You through Your Word and through prayer
- The cleansing of the blood of Christ which robes me in righteousness
Lord, I ask You for …
- Moments to Selah throughout the day that I may seek You
- The strength to turn away from the things of this world which are impure
- This generation to rise above immorality and to seek You with a pure heart
And now, Lord, I offer my praise to You. You are holy, righteous, and good. You are my strength and my hope.
