Tonight we are deploying our troops to prayer walk our surrounding neighborhoods and communities. Use the prayer guide below to guide your prayer walking experience for our “Go There Prayer Walk.” Continue using this guide as a resource to help focus your daily prayers as well.
Praise God for who He is.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised … – Psalm 145:3
Use the following phrase to formulate praises:
“God You are … (Ex. Faithful, Holy, Creator)
Recognize the needs around you.
When he saw the crows, he had compassion for them … – Matthew 9:36
Ask God to show you how to pray for the people in your community, church, and city.
Acknowledge God’s goodness.
Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever. – Psalm 136:26
Spend time thanking God for His many provisions, for His grace, and for His help in time of need.
Yield your life and “go there” for others.
Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:10
Surrender your will to Lord and ask Him to give you opportunities to serve others.
Entreat the Holy Spirit to draw souls to Jesus.
For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost. – Luke 19:10
Humbly ask for an abundance of Jesus’ resurrection power to be displayed in the lives of the lost.
Remember God’s promises.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. – Jeremiah 33:3
Pray that a greater passions for God, His Word, and prayer be unleashed in your life.
