Day 15 – Monday, February 17

Read I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. Revelation 2:2-5

Remember … I praise You today as the consistent and passionate God of the universe. Your love is unfailing and Your affection unlimited.

Respond … Forgive me, Father, for allowing the light of Your presence in my life to dim. I am so sorry that I allow busyness and worldly pleasures to ignite my heart and captivate me.

Reflect … Thank You for pursuing me. Thank You for drawing me back to You and for never losing Your passion and love for me.

Renew … Help Your people – the church – be passionate for You. Help us come back to our “first love.” Give Your church a hunger for Your Word and for prayer. Bring us to our knees and make us cry out to You, Father. Do not allow us to be a half-hearted church. Do whatever it takes to make us have eyes, ears, hearts, hands, and minds that are Yours only. In the precious name of Jesus, amen.

The world is perishing for lack of the knowledge of God and the Church is famishing for want of His Presence. – A.W. Tozer
