Read … But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. Isaiah 64:8
Remember … I praise You, Lord, as my creator, the One who formed and made me and as the One who continues to mold and fashion me into the likeness of Jesus. All glory to You for making me the work of Your hands.
Reflect … Thank You for not giving up on me, God. Thank You for doing whatever it takes to make me more like Your Son, Jesus. I am blessed beyond measure by Your patient, loving kindness toward me. Thank You for Your ways, Your work and Your wisdom in my life.
Renew … Oh Lord, help me be putty in Your hands. I give You my life, my will, my hands and feet. They are Yours. Fashion me into a vessel that is fit for use in Your kingdom. Create a masterpiece in me that can be used for Your church and send me to do Your work, Your way. Rejoicing in You, Jesus, amen!
When an answer I did not expect comes to a prayer which I believed I truly meant, I shrink back from it; if the burden my Lord asks me to bear be not the burden of my heart’s choice, and I fret inwardly and do not welcome His will, then I know nothing of Calvary love.
