Read … Since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:22-25
Remember … Jesus, You are the one, true High Priest. You are pure and holy. Your precious blood that was shed made You worthy to bear the name King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah, what a Savior!
Reflect … Thank You, great High Priest for being faithful to Your promise to save Your people. Thank You for my confession of hope I have in You and for the assurance of my faith through Your shed blood. Thank You for the opportunity to meet with, pray with, and encourage others through My Hope America.
Renew … As we meet in homes to lead others to our hope, Father, I ask Your Spirit to go before us and prepare the way. We want to boldly, without wavering, proclaim You as High Priest, Jesus. Our effort is nothing without Your power, Your blessing, and Your strength at work in each of us. Please display Your power in us as we fulfill Your will to bring hope to the hopeless and healing to the broken. Also, make my heart pure so that I may be an instrument You can use to show others Your love … Your goodness … Your hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Perhaps the greatest psychological, spiritual, and medical need that all people have is the need for hope. If ever there was a time this country needed the intervention of God, it is now. We can and should pray for America as a whole, but remember that when God sets out to change a nation, He begins by changing people.
