Day 29 – Tuesday, October 29

Read And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.  Matthew 9:35-38

Remember I praise You as the Lord of the Harvest. You guide people into truth, and Your Holy Spirit convicts and instructs. You turn the hearts of men by Your omnipotent (all-powerful) hand.

Reflect As I reflect on Your goodness today, I am reminded of the way You go after Your lost sheep. Thank You for going after me and for bringing me into Your kingdom. Thank You for continuing to go after Your lost people. Thank You for Your love for them.

Renew You have called me, as a believer, to tell others about what You have done in my life. Your Word says that we should “be ready always to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” (1 Peter 3:15). Make me ready, God. Help me. Give me the right words to say so that I can clearly tell others about You. I know the words don’t have to be eloquent, just understandable. Anoint and empower me to be a laborer for You. For Your glory, amen.

I have had the privilege of preaching the gospel on every continent in most of the countries of the world. And I have found that when I present the simple message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, with authority, quoting from the very Word of Godhe takes that message and drives it supernaturally into the human heart.
