Read … I have given them your word … Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. John 17:14a & 17
Remember … God, You are truth and Your Word is truth. I praise You that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Your Word has power!
Reflect … I give You thanks today for captivating hearts, minds, and emotions with Your truth and for dispelling lies with Your Word. Thank You for the power of Your Word. Thank You for helping me understand and apply the truths of Your Word daily to my life.
Renew … Jesus, help me to love Your Word. Help me desire to read and study Your Word and cling to it daily. I pray that as I engage in reading truth, You will make me more like You. Take the truths from Your Word and cause me to be open to Your desire for me as a member of this body of believers at Warren. In Jesus’ name, amen.
While others still slept, He went away to pray and to renew His strength in communion with His Father. He had need of this, otherwise He would not have been ready for the new day. The holy work of delivering souls demands constant renewal through fellowship with God.
