Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Pray for unconditional love in your relationships this week. Use the passage above to pray specifically for someone you know. Below is an example of how you can pray using 1 Corinthians 13.

Example:

Love is patient and kind.

Lord, help me be patient and kind with _____________.

Love does not envy or boast.

Father, forgive me for being envious of ________. Help me not boast in myself, but rather in You.

Love is not arrogant or rude.

Lord, I was rude to _________. Give me control over my tongue and help kindness be on my lips.

Formulate your own prayer using this passage and watch God change your attitude and actions!
