God’s Grace… His favor, life, love and power offered to us. No strings attached, right?
Well, maybe not.
I wonder if I have such trouble receiving His Grace at times because even though I know there are no conditions… I can’t help but think, there are repercussions.
Yep, instinctively we somehow know receiving Father’s Grace will change us… And there’s something appealing about the comfort of known struggles as opposed to changes that might take us, well… Who knows where.
And what about peace?
Funny thing is I’m beginning to think I might be addicted to a bit of stress and anxiety.
What about you… Do you sometimes find yourself looking for the next rush?
Oh my. What if we’ve been in these states of striving and anxiety for so long they’ve become our new normal. Not good y’all.
Nope, not good at all.
Pray with me…
Father help us to know what we’re missing when we hold to our ways instead of receiving Your Gifts of Grace and Peace. Holy Spirit give us such an experience of Jesus’ Life in us that we awaken to the wonder of the Grace and Peace offered by our Father. Thank You Jesus for Grace… And the Peace that comes with it. Amen.
