Day 25 – Thursday, February 27

ReadNow may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Remember … God of peace, sanctifier, faithful One, that is You, oh Lord. Blessed be Your name!

Respond … I wince at Your refining at times. It is uncomfortable and difficult. I so want to grow but I don’t cling and commune with You as I should.

Reflect … I am grateful for the faithfulness You lavish on Your church. Thank You for keeping us on track and for making Your bride like Jesus.

Renew … Help Your people – the church – shine as a radiant bride for Your Kingdom. As we become more and more like Your Son, help us love, serve, think, act, talk, and live as sons and daughters of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in Whose name we pray, amen.

The one marvelous secret of a holy life lies not in imitating Jesus, but in letting the perfections of Jesus manifest themselves  in my mortal flesh. Sanctification is “Christ in you.”… Sanctification is not drawing from Jesus the power to be holy; it is drawing from Jesus the holiness that was manifested in Him, and He manifests it in me. – Oswald Chambers
