Read … And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Remember … You, Oh Lord abound in love, knowledge, and discernment. Jesus, You are excellent and blameless, filled with righteousness.
Respond … Forgive me, Father, for depending on my own knowledge and discernment at times. You are the One I should be depending on for all things. Cleanse me from this kind of pride and unrighteousness.
Reflect … I am blessed to be filled with the righteousness of Christ because of His sacrifice for my unrighteousness. Thank You, Jesus, for carrying my weight of sin.
Renew … Help Your people – the church – abound in love each day. Help us turn to You for wisdom and discernment. Give us eyes to see what is excellent as a body and as individuals so we can be pure vessels used for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
