Lord, Let me Live in Your Power and Purpose …
Read Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
As you pray today, begin by confessing your desire to walk in God’s power and purpose for your life. Open your hands as an act of surrender.
Lord, I thank You for …
- Calling me to be Your hands and feet and for empowering and equipping me to serve others
- The gift of discipleship and evangelism
Lord, I ask You for …
- The courage to point those who do not know the truth of the Gospel to You
- Opportunities to share the hope of Jesus Christ with others
And now, Lord, I offer my praise to You. You are gracious and kind, loving and merciful. You do not treat me as my sins deserve, but continue to pardon and forgive me when I come to You in true repentance.
Let God have your life; He can do more with it than you can. –Dwight L. Moody
